Sail Lanka was delighted to host over 60 travel agents, media representatives and journalists aboard a sunset sailing cruise in Colombo as part of MICE EXPO 2026, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau.
The event welcomed industry professionals from India, Pakistan, Russia, Bangladesh, Romania, Thailand, France, Germany and other key markets, creating an opportunity to connect with international travel partners and explore future collaborations.
As the sun set over the Indian Ocean, guests experienced Colombo from a different perspective, enjoying the city’s coastal views while discovering Sri Lanka’s growing potential for unique marine tourism experiences.
The evening highlighted the value of bringing travel professionals together through memorable experiences, strengthening industry relationships and showcasing new opportunities for tourism in Sri Lanka.
Through experiences like these, Sail Lanka continues to promote sailing and ocean-based tourism, inviting visitors to discover the island beyond its shores.
